About Mrs. Alden...

Wow! I am so excited to be at Valley View!  I feel very fortunate to work at such an awesome place!
A few things about me...

• I grew up in Burnet, Texas
• I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin
• This is my 12th year to teach (after years at home with my children), 10th year in First Grade at Valley View
• I have 3 wonderful children:

              Jonathan, 30, lives in Austin;  Nick, 27, lives in     
              Houston;  Lindsay, 26, lives in Germany

• I enjoy gardening, fishing, traveling
• I love sports
• Hook'em Horns

I love teaching and learning from children!  I know working as a partner with every family provides the most meaningful learning experience for each and every child.
